D.I.Y. Holiday Card Display

Here’s a great way to display your holiday cards this year!  Better than posting them on the fridge.

Supplies:

Cheap Cork Board, Wooden Craft Letters, Holiday Print Fabric, Paint, Ribbon, and Glitter

Instructions:

1. Paint the border around the cork board (you’ll probably need two coats of paint).

2. After the wooden letters are painted, add a thin layer of mod podge to the top of each letter.

3. Before the mod podge dries, lightly sprinkle the top of the letters with glitter.

4. Cut the fabric to fit inside the border of the cork board.  Then, use a stapler to attach the corners and edges of the fabric to the board.

5. Cut four strips of ribbon to match the length of the outside edges of fabric.

6. Use a hot glue gun to tack down the ribbon in each corner and along the side edges.

7. Use wood glue to secure the letter to the top border of the cork board.

8.  I plan to hang my board up near my tree, but that hasn’t happened just yet!  Use thumb tacks to post the holiday cards as they arrive in the mail 🙂

Ok, I’m all ready now…  so everyone can start sending their Christmas Cards to us!
