Tuesday’s Christmas Ornament #5


This week I used scrapbook paper & mod podge to cover wooden stars for ornaments.  I’m really happy with the way these turned out… very simple, yet so cute!

1Supplies:

Holiday Scrapbook Paper, Ribbon, Wooden Stars, Mod Podge, Hot Glue Gun, and Sandpaper.

2Instructions:

1. Trace the around the edges of the star onto the back of the scrapbook paper.

32. After cutting out the paper star, use mod podge to glue the scrapbook paper to the wooden star.

43. Once the mod podge has dried, use sand paper to smooth down the edges of the scrapbook paper and make even with the edge of the wood.

54. Add a top layer of mod podge to the front of the star.  Allow time for the glue to dry completely.

65. Use hot glue to secure a loop of ribbon to the back side of the star.

76. All finished!  Now hang your new ornament on the tree.
