Tuesday’s Christmas Ornament #6

Ok, it’s actually Wednesday and I did not make a Christmas ornament for this week.  I’m a slacker, I know…

I had planned to make this “Wedding Invitation Ornament” I found on pinterest:

I thought it would be perfect to make this for our 1st married Christmas.  So yes, I’m a little bummed about it.  But maybe I can find something else from the wedding to cut into strips, curl and put inside a clear bulb!  Now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure I saw an extra ceremony program while I was searching in the garage.

Anyways…  I’m cheating this week!  I’m just going to provide a link to the blog where this pinterest picture originated from.  From Glitter to Gumdrops has great step-by-step photos for this DIY ornament.

So if you can find an old invitation that you saved from your wedding (unlike me), then have fun making yourself an ornament!  Also, if someone out there maybe saved one of our invites… I’d love you forever if you would send it to me! 🙂

  1. It cracks me up that the ornament project that would take you 5 minutes to do is the one you just can’t get done! All the others have taken like a 1/2 day’s worth of time!!! LOL!

Don’t beat yourself up too hard. The 1st anniversary is “paper” so this would be an excellent gift for that.

  2. Hi Becky I have your invitation and reception card and would be happy to send it to you if you still need it.
